Ellen Sinclair Kennett Lodge
With the help of our generous donors, funding is now complete for the 200-bed PAH Foundation Lodge, featuring the George & Sylvia Melville Hospice Home!
In June 2023, PAH Foundation Lodge was renamed the Ellen Sinclair Kennett Lodge. This new name reflects Peace Arch Hospital Foundation's first board chair, Peace Arch Hospital Auxiliary Member, health care trailblazer and WR/SS community advocate, Ellen Kennett. Ellen began fundraising for what would become Peace Arch Hospital back in 1948 and continued to advocate for and support Peace Arch for the remainder of her life.
The Ellen Sinclair Kennett Lodge is a 200-bed residential care facility featuring the 15-bed George & Sylvia Melville Hospice Home, and a 73-bed elder mental health unit. This state-of-the-art building opened in April 2020.
The Lodge has been built on land owned by Peace Arch Hospital Foundation and Fraser Health is operating the medical services for patients requiring complex residential care, specialized mental health treatment, and hospice care for a patient’s final days.
