Peace Arch Hospital Foundation Projects: Partners in Planning

Partners in Planning

Are you a Professional Advisor? Join us as a Partner in Planning!

We understand the critical work Professional Advisors like you make to ensure your clients are equipped with the knowledge, understanding and trust in their wealth and estate management teams.

Connecting with clients about their charitable aspirations through the philanthropic conversation deepens the relationship and builds the foundations of life-long collaboration, helping clients achieve their philanthropic and financial goals. While many advisors support their clients in these aspirations, many need more information about how to grow their book of business and engage new clients through the power of philanthropic giving.

Please join us as a Partner in Planning and get involved in our Exclusive Advisor Event below. Partners benefit from invitations to Foundation events, resources to engage clients in new ways, as well as training in the important philanthropic conversation. We have developed a program to engage with you, our network of professional advisors, to keep you informed of the current priorities of the hospital and tools to work with your clients who are interested in philanthropy, either now or through their estate plan.

IS STRATEGIC PHILANTHROPY PART OF YOUR CLIENTS’ ESTATE PLANNING?

Join us on October 8, 2024 with this year’s guest speaker, Mark Halpern!

You don’t have to be Bill Gates or Warren Buffet to be a philanthropist. Deepen Your Understanding of Strategic Philanthropy’s Role in Estate Planning. Join Mark Halpern as he shares the logic, the emotion, the words and the sales strategies to help incorporate charitable giving into your clients’ estate planning to help them create enduring legacies, often just by converting taxes into charitable donations. Philanthropy is the greatest “thin edge of the wedge” to open doors to existing clients, prospects and professional centres of influence.

Mark Halpern, CFP, TEP, and MFA-P, has been a leader in the financial planning industry for 33 years, specializing in tax-advantaged insurance solutions to protect families, create charitable legacies, and preserve estates. As CEO of WEALTHinsurance.com®, Mark collaborates with clients’ accountants, lawyers, and investment professionals to provide comprehensive estate planning. Continue reading below for Mark’s complete bio.

Note: This session is recommended for all local professional advisors including Financial Advisors, Accountants, and Legal Professionals.

What’s more? Professional advisors who attend this event will receive recognition in the Peace Arch News! All Partners in Planning will be listed as the Foundation’s esteemed partners in a full-page PAN ad, to be placed after the event takes place.

We hope to see you there! RSVP NOW via email to confirm your spot.

"The simple act of giving is truly transformational. Every dollar we receive is enhancing health care in this community, whether it’s supporting our capital infrastructure, the purchase of essential medical equipment, or funding a wellness program like stroke recovery or a children’s club to encourage healthy habits and active play. It all matters and it all makes a difference."
Stephanie Beck, Executive Director at Peace Arch Hospital Foundation
