WHITE ROCK, B.C. – Our hearts are filled with gratitude for our dedicated neighbours and friends at Peace Arch Hospital Auxiliary Society. To help us wrap up our Medical Imaging Campaign, the Auxiliary graciously donated $500,000 at Peace Arch Hospital’s 70th Birthday! Not only did this support help us meet our goal, but it also enabled us to surpass our initial target of $10 million!

In 2008, the Peace Arch Hospital Auxiliary were leading contributors to Peace Arch Hospital’s new MRI, donating $1 million towards the cost of the machine. Now, the Auxiliary’s gift will support our MRI project, a part of our Medical Imaging Campaign. These donations showcase the Auxiliary’s passion and commitment for top-notch health care in our community.

The Peace Arch Hospital Auxiliary Society was founded in 1948 when a small group of pioneering women recognized the need for a local healthcare facility in White Rock. Over the past 76 years, the Auxiliary has donated countless hours and funds to Peace Arch Hospital, becoming a vital source for capital equipment and enhancing patient comfort. They have consistently supported Peace Arch Hospital Foundation, contributing significant gifts to both our Emergency Expansion and OR Campaigns. This enthusiastic group of 185 members hosts various fundraising events and operates the Gift Shop and Superfluity Thrift Shop at Peace Arch Hospital. This dedicated group has played an indispensable role in supporting the hospital since day one.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Peace Arch Hospital Auxiliary Society for their thoughtful donation. For 76 years, they have been instrumental in ensuring that Peace Arch Hospital provides the highest quality of care. This donation is yet another testament to their unwavering dedication to improving health care in our community.
